Appointments at citylinks private and discreet locations in London

The initial consultation is charged at the fixed price of £40. This appointment is important because it’s your opportunity to enable us formulate the support that’s right for you. Type of questions you may be asked are ‘why do you think your here’, ‘what type of help do you think would be best for you’, ‘when would you be able to come for regular appointments’, agree on what would be most financially viable for you based on your income first.

We may gather information about your background/history or about your childhood or upbringing to explore the best way forward. These questions are ways we can find out as much as possible at this stage about you and what you may be presenting to work out what approach would be most effective to suit your needs. If you would like to talk to a professional you are welcome to call, free of charge, to discuss any initial queries you may have about engaging, concerns or general questions about how you or someone you might know is feeling.

Weekend appointments

Weekend appointments are priced £60. Therapy sessions last 50 minutes and are held on a regular weekly basis. One off sessions can also be arranged to work around your lifestyle. Payment is taken by the therapist at the beginning of each session unless a prior agreement/arrangement has been made to pay by block sessions. Bookings can also be taken by online banking/transfers.

Waiting times

Those who contact citylinks counselling are offered initial appointments within 3-5 working days. Waiting times for counselling/therapy depend on your availability, therapists and the service you require.


Sessions at citylinks counselling are held on Monday to Friday from 9am to 9pm and on Saturday from 10am to 2pm. Sunday sessions require specific negotiating with the therapist but can be arranged if it is difficult to engage at times otherwise.

Stopping sessions

If you decide you want to stop your sessions at citylinks counselling for any reason, we always encourage you to talk it through with your psychotherapist to see what might the reasons for this be. It might be a challenging process and you might need some support in managing difficult feelings or emotions. That is why we encourage people by letting them know they are able to return, at any point they feel they are able to, if they wish to do so.

Cancelling appointments

Please contact citylinks counselling as soon as possible to inform us if you would like to cancel or are unable to attend an appointment on 0208 257 7901or 07713-148-873. Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ prior notice or non-attended appointments without any prior agreement will be charged at the full price of your therapy. We will provide you with as much notice as possible if the therapist needs to cancel or reschedule any appointments arranged.
